I come to the Intermedia MFA Program with a diverse background that is not necessarily directly related to art, but rather creativity. Life itself, if truly lived, requires a high andongoing level of creativity.

My current interests are in visual arts and writing, especially with a focus on storytelling. Storytelling can happen in a variety of ways, and is open to almost any medium. I find this incredibly exciting, and continuously explore ways in which a story can become a part of ones consciousness. Within the same context, I am exploring human interactions, perceptions, traditions and cultures as not only our past, but in the ways that we shape the future. One key area of human interest is youth culture, and the ways in which youth perceive the world and are perceived in relation to it.
